Meet the Pastor
Ed Rees, Pastor
“Rev. Ed” is a native of Waycross, Georgia, but has lived in the Augusta area since 1985.
He graduated from Davidson College in 1979 with a degree in Economics, and enjoyed careers in commercial banking, health care administration, and state government before entering seminary. Ed graduated from Erskine Theological Seminary with a Masters in Divinity in January, 2007, and became the pastor of St. Andrew in July, 2007.
He is married to Angie, a CPA, and they have five children: Richard Rees, 16; Taylor Payne, 15; Lee Anne Rees, 13; Kathryn Payne, 12; and Chandler Payne, 10. They also have an English bulldog named Lulu and a cairn terrier named Roxie, and the whole gang lives in Evans.
